Napoli have been Italy’s best team by far this season and in the final against Sampdoria their players reaped the sweet reward of presenting the league trophy to ‘Diego Maradona’.
The world of Naples was once again (for the last time this season) filled with ‘Diego Maradona’ and Luciano Spalletti’s players made sure to compensate their friends even more.
And that’s because they beat Sampdoria 2-0 with goals from Osimen (penalties) and Simeone, and immediately afterwards they threw a crazy party attended by tens of thousands of Partenopei fans, where the team’s captain, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, celebrated the Ball Pulled Up First in the sky rose the heavy trophy that ended 33 years of waiting.
