Atalanta and Roma in Europe, Juventus in the conference, playoffs between Spezia and Verona

Atalanta and Roma defended their places in the Serie A final and clinched the Europa League ticket, ‘sending’ Juventus to Conference qualifiers. Nikolaous Spetsia is in the play-off against Verona.

The top four of Serie A may have been ‘suspended’ since Matchday 37 (Napoli, Lazio, Inter Milan, Milan) but this year’s league final was full of excitement on two fronts, namely that of exit from Europe and stay.

As far as European tickets are concerned, there was no surprise: Atalanta and Roma won at home against Monza (5-2) and Spezia (2-1) respectively and had a firm grip on European tickets for the Europa League groups, with Juventus for their part, Udinese beat Udinese 1-0 away with a superb goal from Chiesa, but were limited to the qualifiers for the Conference League in the new season thanks to their 7th place finish in this year’s Campeonato.

However, hearts broke in the relegation battle as Spezia and Verona stayed alive but have now been told to ‘wipe out’ each other to remain in Serie A.

Spezia took the lead at the Olimpico through a header from Dimitris Nikolaou (his first goal of the season) but couldn’t prevent Roma’s surprise, which ended with a Dybala penalty in the 90th minute, while Verona at Milan’s San Siro were 3: 1 was beaten, leading the two teams to the play-offs by 32 points each.

The ‘final’ of the two teams’ stay will be a match that takes place next Sunday (11/06), with Serie A playing their first play-off since 2005 to remain in the top flight and avoid relegation.

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds

An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.

Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.

In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.

Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
