Cruciate ligament tear fears for Romas Abraham
Tami Abraham was injured in Roma’s last game of the season against Spetses, and the medical staff’s initial assessments speak of a cruciate ligament rupture.
The season ended in the worst way and with a serious injury for Roma striker Tammy Abraham, who injured her knee in the game against Spezia and left the pitch on a stretcher.
The international soccer player fell awkwardly during the game while taking the ball from an opponent and appeared to be in great pain.
On Monday morning, La Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that Abraham was taken to a private medical center to have his injured knee examined and had undergone an MRI scan which revealed a cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee.
Roma have yet to officially announce his injury and the timing of his recovery, as well as his return to the pitch.
