Juventus have officially announced their intention to withdraw from the European Super League

Juventus have issued a statement confirming letters to Real Madrid and Barcelona informing them of their desire to leave the European Super League and denying reports of threats from UEFA.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire, the wise say, and that saying fits Juventus and their impending exit from the European Super League project.

A few hours after the revelation by the Spanish website Relevo that the Turin team had initiated all the necessary legal procedures for withdrawal from the European Super League, confirmation came from the side of the Veccia Signora.


He did so in an announcement on Tuesday evening (06/06), with club management confirming they had sent letters to Real and Barcelona informing them of their decision, but denying that they had received threats from UEFA to warn them of to be excluded from European competitions, forcing them to withdraw.

“Among the rumors that have surfaced in the press today, Juventus informs that it has forwarded a communication to the two remaining clubs that, like Juventus, have not exercised their withdrawal from the Super League program (Barcelona and Real), to start a discussion on the deadline between them.” the three clubs on the possible exit of Juventus from the Super League project.
