Milan’s message of condolence to Silvio Berlusconi was touching as the Rossoneri quoted the Cavaliere from a letter he wrote after winning the 1989 Champions League.

Historical leader of Milan and owner of Monza, Silvio Berlusconi, has died at the age of 86. This news spread sadness among the families of the two teams linked to the Cavaliere.

Milan’s announcement was particularly moving. The Rossoneri bade farewell to Cavaliere by quoting from the letter he wrote after winning the 1989 Champions League.

Milan’s announcement:

“Deeply saddened. Milan mourns the loss of the unforgettable Silvio Berlusconi and wants to join family, partners and dearest friends to offer our condolences.”
