Roma: An important player will request a transfer to avoid being vaccinated
Italy is expected to ban unvaccinated footballers from stadiums from January 10, and a Roma player will request a transfer in that case.
The potential of the Roma will be intensively turned inside out in January. Jose Mourinho stated he is leaving on two loans, one of which is owned by Ensley Maitland Niles, but it is not out of the question that an important footballer could go missing.
The reason is the law passed by the Italian government and expected to come into force on January 10th, according to which unvaccinated people are prohibited from entering sports facilities, including athletes, unless they are recently ill.
The Roman newspaper “Messaggero” claimed in a report on Wednesday that a soccer player from “Jialorosi” said he would ask for a transfer if something were to happen.
The report says he is a key Roma player without disclosing his name for legal reasons, adding that he is among the 4% of Serie A players who have not yet been vaccinated.
