Mourinho said ‘no’ to the proposal made to him by the Al Ahli president
Al Ahli’s president traveled to London to speak to Jose Mourinho and persuade him to accept his team’s proposal, but received a negative response from the special squad.
Jose Mourinho has spent two years in Rome and in that time has managed to endear himself incredibly to Roma fans, guiding the Giallorossi to two European finals and a cup, the Europa Conference League in 2022.
However, with his contract with the Italian club ending in 2024, there are many teams who would like to sign him and one of them is Al Ahli. Indeed, so great was the desire of his people to make him their own that his President traveled to London. According to reports from Italy, he made a major financial proposal to Jose Mourinho in order to tempt him into showing Roma a handkerchief.
At the meeting of the two men in the English capital, Matthew Ondonohoe, President of the Manager’s Office “CAA Stellar,” with Italian reporters revealing that the 60-year-old coach thanked the Saudi strongman but politely declined his offer.
