Roma have extended Smalling’s contract until 2025
Roma have announced the extension of Chris Smalling’s contract, with the 33-year-old England defender signing until the summer of 2025.
“Smalling is here to stay,” Roma wrote in her statement. The Giallorossi announced the extension of the 33-year-old England defender’s contract until the summer of 2025.
“The decision to stay with Roma was the easiest decision. I’m playing the best football of my career here and my family and I feel so at home in this wonderful city.”
I also want to thank all the fans. The unconditional support they showed me made my decision easier.” said Smalling.
Smalling has played for Roma since 2019 when he was initially loaned out by Manchester United. The Giallorossi bought him in October 2020 for 15 million euros.
He made 47 appearances in all competitions that year, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
