Weah, Juventus’ decision to follow in Cuadrado’s footsteps
Juventus have said goodbye to Juan Cuadrado but have already found a player to fill their void. Italian media report that Turin are close to agreeing a deal with Lille to sign Timothy Weah.
Juan Cuadrado said goodbye after several years at Juventus and is now 35 years old. Massimo Allegri’s side have been looking for a replacement for some time and it looks like they’ve found him.
According to Italian media, this is Timothy Weah (son of the legendary George Weah). The latest reports on the Veccia Signora’s upcoming €12m deal with Lille and the Bianconeri offer the player a five-year deal to work with them.
The same reports stress that Weah will essentially be Cuadrado’s replacement at the right end of the Bianconeri’s midfield in a 3-5 formation, while the arrival of another player at ‘Juventus Stadium’ to cover the right wing shouldn’t be ruled out Team.
