Inter won the derby with Milan and “snag” Turam
Marcus Thuram is just a breath away from his move to Milan, but not for Milan, who took the first step to make him their own, but for Inter, who relented and took him from their compatriot’s hands.
Not long after their clash in the Champions League semi-finals, Milan and Inter were locked in yet another derby, this time of a transfer nature, and the result seemed to go in the Nerazzurri’s favour.
The protagonist in the clash between the two great Milan footballers is Marcus Thuram. Released by Gladbach, the 25-year-old French striker initially closed in on the Rossoneri but was knocked down by Inter at the last moment.
According to Italian media, Simone Inzaghi’s side have been watching him for some time and wanted to get back into the fray after the departure of Edin Dzeko (he joined Fenerbahce) fellow citizens in the cold.
Of course, the will of the player himself, who chose Inter over Milan, played an important role, with the media in the neighboring country stressing that the Champions League finalist intended to take Dzeko’s place in the Nerazzurri’s attacking line.
It is noted that Thuram has played for Gladbach for the last four years and recorded 16 goals and 7 assists in 32 games in all competitions for the German club last season.
