Sampdoria announced Pirlo
Andrea Pirlo will be the manager tasked with guiding Sampdoria back into the big leagues of Italian football, with the Blues announcing a deal with him until the summer of 2025.
After a two-year absence, Andrea Pirlo is back on home soil with the ‘Maestro’ being Sampdoria’s chosen one in their bid to return to Serie A.
The two teams have been in negotiations for 24 hours and have achieved a pleasing result: the Genoa Blues announced on Tuesday afternoon (06/27) that the 44-year-old coach will be on their bench until the summer of 2025.
Their presentation to the press will take place next Wednesday (06/28) and it has been announced that they will be flanked by Nicolas Legrotallier as chief analyst and Lorenzo Zanni as head of scouting.
