Al Nasr reduced Inter’s offer to five for Brozovic and the transfer fell through
Marcelo Brozovic’s move to Al Nasr fell through at the last minute when the Saudis decided to switch their offer to Inter Milan, which the Nerazzurri rejected and negotiations stalled.
Marcelo Brozovic’s transfer to Al Nasr was taken for granted until just a few hours ago, as Cristiano Ronaldo’s team initially reached an agreement with Inter Milan and accepted the terms set by the Croatian midfielder in the second year.
However, the situation changed very abruptly after the Saudis decided to change the initial proposal they had put to the Neradjuris.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, although both sides agreed on €23m, Al Nasr changed the terms of the contract and offered €15m plus €13m in goals.
Inter rejected the new offer, which ‘frozen’ negotiations between the two teams.
