Milan drop back for Morata and turn to Taremi in attack
AC Milan are stepping up efforts to sign a striker to flank Giroud in the attacking line, with Alvaro Morata moving away and Mehdi Tarebi joining the Rossoneri squad.
Alvaro Morata has been at the top of Milan’s transfer list for several days and has proven himself over the years both in Italy at Juventus and in Spain at Real and Atlético, but his concern appears to be losing significant ground.
The reason is… financial: Atlético are demanding more than 20 million euros to leave him and he has an annual cash of 5 million at his disposal, with the Rossoneri considering the above demands excessive and turning to another solution.
Her name is Mehdi Taremi. Italian website Sportmediaset revealed that despite Porto’s €20m demand, the people of the Italian team are undeterred and see the Iranian striker as a highly reliable solution to Olivier Giroud’s cross in the scrimmage ahead of the new season.
The same report states that should Taremi move on, Milan will withdraw from Chukwueze as they will have no other non-EU positions, while the Milanese will always have the Skamaka solution in mind provided West Ham agree to give in borrowed him.
