Juventus transfers: Bonucci and Makeni out who is looking for a team, new captain Danilo

Juventus are preparing to travel to the United States for their summer tour due to two key absences. the team leader, Leonardo Bonucciwill not be present after new football director Cristiano Giudoli and his assistant Giovanni Mana visited him in Tuscany, where he is on holiday, and told him he is not included in plans for the new season.

The 36-year-old Italian has been with the Bianconeri since 2010, with the exception of the 2017-2018 season when he joined Milan and formed a historic duo in central defense with Giorgio Chiellini (and previously a treble with Andrea Barzagli). But age and the many injury problems have left him behind in recent years.

The international will be in Continassa on Monday when the Bianconeri return to training but will not take part in the team programme. The Italian media believe that he will try to reverse the climate and do an individual program, but they give no hope that anything will change.

Danilo will take over the captain’s armband, which he has worn since last September, following Chiellini’s departure.

Along with Bonucci, he was also expelled from the team Winston McKenney. The American midfielder has also been officially told he needs to find a team, which has been the case unofficially for several months as Massimiliano Allegri didn’t grant him playing time which is why he was loaned out to Leeds last year.
