Lazio fans hoist banners to support Mikhailovic in his fight against leukemia
Sinisa Mikhailovic is not alone in his battle with leukemia. The organized Lazio fans show their support with an inspirational banner they raised during the game against Sassuolo.
Sinisa Mikhailovic shocked the football world with the revelation he made last week that leukemia has returned and he must fight again to push it back and stay alive. There are countless messages of support for the Serbian coach.
One of these was given on Saturday afternoon (2/4) during the game between Lazio Roma and Sassuolo for the 31st game of Serie A, with Lazio fans not only shouting slogans and songs in favor of the former Eagles player, but also raising banners for him.
“Courage Sinisa. You will execute, you will score, you will fight and you will win once more”wrote the banner raised by the organized Lazio fans in the Curva Nord.
It is recalled that shortly after Mikhailovich’s press conference last week, where he updated on the evolution of his medical condition and the need for new chemotherapy, Lazio made the following post:
“Sinisa, never give up. We are by your side in this new fight.”
