Lazio have Douvikas in their sights
Lazio want Tasos Douvikas and have reportedly made an offer of €10m for his takeover. Utrecht asks more to give him away.
Tasos Douvikas have had a superb season with Utrecht and are understandably attracting interest from clubs.
One of them is Lazio Roma who, according to a report from our neighboring country Italy but also from the country of the tulip, have made a €10m proposal to buy the international striker.
However, Utrecht demands five million euros more and a bonus for the concession of their first goalscorer.
We remind you that he scored the most goals in the Dutch league together with Xavi Simmons from Eindhoven (19 in total).
He even seems ready for the big step, as he had emphasized in his recent statements: “One day I want to be part of the European elite. We’ll see if it’s possible. I’ve always worked hard to get where I am now, but I have bigger dreams.”
Where will I play after the summer? If I knew, I would tell you now. I love Utrecht, I’m grateful to the fans. But as I said, my ambitions are to play at the top. Then you have to take the next step, play in a bigger league. I’m more likely to leave than to stay.
