Cagliari have been eyeing Douvikas for his attacking style
Tasos Douvikas is in demand in Italy as according to Gianluca Di Marzio, alongside Lazio, Cagliari have also expressed interest in acquiring the Utrecht striker.
Tasos Duvikas’ last season at Alkmaar was outstanding, with 22 goals and 4 assists in 38 games in all competitions, and that has drawn several Europeans in its wake.
A few 24 hours ago, the name Lazio Rom became known (a Dutch midfielder spoke of a €10m offer from the Eternal City team in Utrecht), but it seems they’re not the only Serie A side eyeing the international striker.
In addition, this summer Cagliari returned to the big leagues of the Campionato. Renowned Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that the Sardinian side are interested in the 24-year-old forward to strengthen their attack.
“The Reds and Blues have their sights set on the 24-year-old Utrecht striker,” reports the relevant publication, whereby Douvikas still has a contract with the Dutch, who in turn are apparently demanding an amount of almost 15 million euros in order to sit at the negotiating table with a club.
