AC Milan have found the player who will flank Olivier Giroud in the scrimmage in the new season. The Rossoneri reached an agreement with Salzburg to sign Noah Okafor on a regular basis.

Noah Okafor took his first steps at professional level with the Basel shirt, spread his wings to join Salzburg in 2020 and is now preparing for a footballing breakthrough with Milan.

According to reports from Italy, the Rossoneri made a move and agreed with Salzburg to buy the 23-year-old Swiss international (his contract with the Austrians expired in 2024), who had been in Stefano Pioli’s sights in previous transfer windows.

The deal is estimated to cost between €13m and €15m and Okafor, who is expected to pass a medical in Milan on Saturday, is set to receive €2m to €2.5m a year.

It is noted that the naturalized Swiss (born in Nigeria) recorded 34 goals and 23 assists in 110 games in his three years with Salzburg, while he scored 10 goals in total last season, including 3 in the Champions League and one against Milan.
