Napoli and Inter Milan got off to a good start in the new Serie A with victories against Frosinone and Monza, and on Sunday evening (20/8) it was Juventus’ turn to follow in their footsteps. The Vecchia senior managed it much more convincingly, having attacked in the opening 45 minutes at Udinese’s home ground, finding her way into the net three times, defending that advantage in the second half and taking a terrific win from wide 3: 0

In fact, that threesome was signed by Chiesa and Vlahovic, who formed the duo in the scrimmage in the 4-4-2 formation that Massimo Allegri set up his team with, with the Italian scoring the first in the 2nd minute with a powerful shot from the semi-circle and the Serb made it 2-0 in the 20th minute with a well-placed penalty kick for his team.

In the evening’s other game, Lecce celebrated a big win against Lazio Roma, a game Maurizio Sarri’s side lost just before the final. The Eagles of Rome took the lead in the 26th minute thanks to a great performance by Immobile after a Luis Alberto assist, but the hosts found their mental reserves and managed a terrible turnaround with Almqvist (85′) and Di Francesco within two minutes (87′).
