Bologna 0-2 Milan: Renato Dall’Ara’s right foot
Milan began their duties in the new Serie A with the right foot as they beat Bologna 2-0 at home. Giroud in the 11th minute and Pulisic in the 21st minute were the goalscorers for Stefanos Pioli’s side, with Charalambos Loukogiannis starting for the hosts.
AC Milan started the new season well, beating Bologna 2-0 in the opening game of Serie A at the Renato Dal’Ara.
The Rossoneri’s golden goalscorers were Olivier Giroud in the 11th minute and Pulisic in the 21st, with the American midfielder scoring on his official Milan debut.
The Rossoneri went into the game furious and quickly scored the two goals that gave them the upper hand in the game. Bologna quickly took control of the game, pushing to reduce the score and secure something in the game, but the Milan defense and Mike Menian held on to the pressure.
In the second half, Bologna kept up the pressure to score, but no attempt could be made to counter anything. Endoi’s attempt in the 60th minute was stopped at the left post, while in the 90th minute Leao sent the ball to the Bologna left post with great energy.
Charalambos Lykogiannis started for the Bologna side and was replaced by Thiago Motta in the 87th minute.
