Juventus 1-1 Bologna: Vlahovic saves the point
Juventus struggled against Babis Lykogiannis’ Bologna and drew 1-1 in Turin.
Juventus hoped for their first win of the season in front of an audience, but the Bologna from Babi Lykogiannis (he fought for an hour) disagreed and left Torino with a draw 1-1 for the 2nd matchday of Serie A.
The “old lady” lined up with Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic in the 3-5-2 front, but it was the “Rosbolu” who kept getting better and better finishes. In one of those, in the 24th minute, Lewis Ferguson opened the scoring for the visitors.
The home side also sometimes sent the ball into the opposition’s nets, but were fought back by the VAR, who caught offsides at the stage. That was not the case in Samuel Ealing Jr.’s knockdown of Dan Edoi in front of the empty net, which went unnoticed.
The introduction of Paul Pogba on his debut of the season gave the Bianconeri a boost as the Frenchman opened the attack in the 80th minute that ended in a 1-1 draw with the Serbian striker.
