Lukaku officially in Rome
Roma have officially announced the signing of Lukaku, with the Belgian centre-forward becoming the new striker for Mourinho’s team.
Romelu Lukaku is officially Roma’s player. The Belgian centre-forward was announced by Jose Mourinho’s team with a very nice tweet in which he of course stars.
The Romans agreed with Chelsea on their one-year loan of 5,800,000 euros. On Tuesday afternoon (29/8), the 30-year-old Belgium international arrived in Rome in a private jet from Brussels, accompanied by Roma President Dan Friedkin and his son Ryan, as well as the club’s managing director, Lina Sulukou.
In fact, upon his arrival there was chaos as more than 5,000 friends of the Rome team welcomed him at the airport. After Lukaku passed the medical tests, he signed his contract at the Giallorossi, which bring him the sum of 7,500,000 euros in the new season.
