Christos Mandas has been a Lazio player since Friday (1/9), with the Italian capital outfit announcing their agreement with OFI to take the young goalkeeper on a regular transfer.

With an emotional post, the 21-year-old goalkeeper said goodbye to the Crete team and thanked him for everything he had experienced and learned.

“After 1.5 years in the team, it was time to part ways. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have been part of OFI, every day has been the best day of my life in Crete. I learned to love and be loved, I saw.” The side of football I dreamed about and enjoyed every moment with this shirt!!!

I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the President of the team, Mr. Michalis Bousi and Mr. Mina Lysandrou, who stood by me in everything as if they were my real family. They helped me in everything and paved the way for me to make a dream come true!!

Also, of course, I want to thank my coaches, my teammates who have been together all day and all the people who work for the team and fight every day to make sure we are doing well!!

Finally, I would like to thank the people in the team for the support they have given me in difficult and easy times. They made me feel like one of them so quickly and I will never forget it!!

Our story ends as if it were the most beautiful Mantinada, thanks for everything OFI, thanks for everything Crete!!”.

Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other.
