Vlahovic was on the verge of leaving in the summer, but now Juventus want to tie him down for another year.

Dusan Vlahovic’s future has been uncertain, with the Serbian striker on the verge of continuing his career at Chelsea and Lukaku taking the exact opposite path.

The specific moves were not executed and both players remained on their teams. Juventus is now considering offering Vlahovic a new contract, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The plan is for him to sign a new contract until 2027, one year longer than the current one, which expires in 2026. The people of Turin want to “stretch” his salary for another year. The Serbian side is not negative and will sit down for discussion.

The appointment between the two sides for the new contract will unexpectedly take place in October.
