Atalanta 0-0 Juventus: The Bianconeri kept the point and stayed at the top
Atalanta were better, they had the chances, but Juventus managed to hold on to a 0-0 draw in Bergamo and stay at the top of the Serie A table.
Atalanta failed to convert their chances into goals and Juventus picked up a point with a 0-0 draw in Bergamo on Matchday 7 of Serie A to stay one point ahead of their rivals in the standings.
The home team had the upper hand for long periods of the game and missed their best chances due to their poor timing in the first half. In fact, they ended the 45 minutes without scoring a goal, but also without being threatened by the “old lady”.
Massimiliano Allegri kept the 3-5-2 despite Dusan Vlahovic being unavailable alongside Federico Chiesa, and made the first changes in the 68th minute. The picture of the game did not change, Juventus looked harmless.
In the final minutes, Atalanta had four finals, one better than the other, with Ten Kopmeiners wasting a great chance and Wojciech Szczesny fending off Luis Muriel’s free kick with the help of the post.
