Back to winning ways and five for Fiorentina, double for Monza
Fiorentina won 3-0 against Pantelis Hatzidiakos’ Cagliari, returning to positive results and climbing back into the top five of Serie A.
The 7th matchday of Serie A ended with victories for Fiorentina and Monza against Cagliari and Sassuolo respectively. The Violas won with great ease 3-0 against Pantelis Hadzidiakos’ Cagliari, while Monza had previously won the double with 1-0 against Sassuolo when Turin and Verona remained at 0-0.
Fiorentina, which had three different goalscorers, returned to good results after a 1-1 draw with Frosinone, reaching 14 points, level with Juventus and Napoli.
Giorgos Kyriakopoulos’ Montza secured their second win in this year’s league after seven games with Colombo’s goal in the 66th minute and are now in 12th place in the table.
