Testosterone positive and Pogba’s second test: danger of a very harsh punishment
Paul Pogba tested positive for testosterone in the second sample he gave as part of the doping control and is now facing a severe punishment from the Italian sports justice system.
Paul Pogba waited eagerly the results of the second doping control sample submitted after the Serie A match against Udineselast August after testing the first sample, which showed high testosterone levels, with the aim of proving his innocence.
Unfortunately, the results did not meet his expectations as he tested positive for the banned substance again after his urine sample was retested, meaning he will be asked to apologize to the Italian sports justice system to see if the substance is positive was knowingly joined his organization.
As Italian media report, the 30-year-old French midfielder is even at risk a four-year ban from sports, with Juventus for its part having a contract with him until 2026 and seriously considering terminating his contract.
In such a case, this is actually to be expected Saving around €30 million (assuming this runs until June 2026 and earns him €10 million per season) from a player who has done little to help her since returning to Turin as he is plagued by injuries.
