Menian’s public apology and allegations of a “murderous” attack
Mike Menian commented on the Genoa president’s allegations, with the Milan goalkeeper also expressing his public apology to the unfortunate Ekuban.
With the fight between Genoa And Milan Speaking to Sky Sport Italia and DAZN after Pioli’s side had just taken three points, the Genovese president described Menian’s 95th-minute tackle on Ekuban as “murderous” and wondered aloud what the Frenchman’s penalty would be.
We remember that the Milan goalkeeper ran out of his goal to clear the ball out of his penalty area, but to make the jump he raised his knee and found the ball dangerous Ekuban on the chest and face.
Through a public post on social media, Mr Mike Menian he defended himself and thereby responded to the accusations of the President of Genoa. “Zangrillo! Words have meaning. What happened yesterday was an accident, perhaps a sad accident, but by no means “murderous.” I wish you all the best for the future and hope that you never have to experience what you just accused me of.
