Ton Monday (September 10th) pAt the press conference for France, which is part of Greece’s Euro 2024 qualifying group, Didier Deschamps asked about the France international’s doping case and said he was saddened by this development, but stressed that he would need time to return.
“Allegri is particularly sad for Paul, like me he has a lot on his plate lately. He is in a complicated situation. He will defend himself.”
He will have to defend himself, this is part of a process that will take a long time. I’m sad, I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, how long it will last, but it’s sad what’s happening to him.
I will not take a categorical or radical position. Even though it’s been a while since he’s been with us, this keeps him on hold.
I hope he finds his smile and the playing field again, but it will take some time.
