According to Reppublica, Bonucci knew about Faccioli’s gambling addiction
Niccolò Fazzoli’s gambling addiction was a secret known to the people at Juventus and Repubblica revealed that former Bianconeri captain Leonardo Bonucci was one of them.
Football Italy has followed with particular concern in the last 24 hours the developments surrounding the betting scandal that has broken out in the country, involving several international footballers, with the name of Niccolò Fazzoli being the first to see the light of day and later followed by that of Sandro Tonali and Nicolos Zaniolo.
According to reports from the neighboring country, Fazoli suffers from a severe gambling and betting addiction and is the one who “tricked” Tonali and Gianiolo. These players are now under the surveillance of the authorities and risk being punished with a football ban for years.
According to today’s revelation by the newspaper Repubblica, Fazoli’s passion for gambling and betting was actually no secret, as there were at least two people in the Juventus family who knew about his situation.
One of them is Torino’s former captain and current Union Berlin stopper Leonardo Bonucci (there appears to be a recorded conversation), while there is also a member of the technical staff (not Massimiliano Allegri) who knew about his addiction, according to the report that even Bonucci now faces a ban that will keep him off the field for some time.
