Loftus-Cheek: “At Chelsea I didn’t play as much as I wanted, at Milan I became a child again”

Ruben Loftus-Cheek left England and Chelsea for Milan last summer and in an interview he gave, he made no secret of his absolute satisfaction with his decision to join the Rossoneri.

After 19 years at Chelsea (he joined the Blues’ academy in 2014 aged 8), Ruben Loftus-Cheek made the big decision to switch footballs last summer. The 27-year-old English midfielder signed a contract with Milan in 2027.

A decision that has so far completely satisfied him, as he indicated in an interview with “SportsWeek”:

“I didn’t play as much as I would have liked at Chelsea and I played in positions I didn’t like. And last season was very difficult for me. In Milan I have a free head and play as a midfielder. “I like”. emphasized the England midfielder, adding meaningfully:

“It’s like I’m going back to my childhood, where I played football without any worries. That’s the state of mind I want to be in when I step on the field.” On the pitch you want to have fun, enjoy the game and are also happy that you work hard.”

As for his goals with the Rossoneri in his first season in Italy? “I want to win the Scudetto, we believe we are the best, but these things will show in the end.”

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds

An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.

Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.

In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.

Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
