Roma stopper Chris Smalling, his wife and their four-year-old child endured a night of terror. The incident occurred on Monday, October 30th, when unknown people broke in through a window of the house.

After entering the house in the Appia Antica area, the robbers tried to steal a safe as they failed to open it.

The footballer’s family is particularly worried as this is the second time in two years that they have been robbed.

They then forced Smalling at gunpoint to open the safe. He followed the order and the three robbers took the contents.
