Djokovic met with Leao and Benaser and “wrote” his remarks about Milan
Novak Djokovic triumphed in the final of the ATP Finals by winning the title against Yannick Sinner, and at the end of the match a surprise awaited him in the locker room after meeting with two players of his beloved Milan, Leao and Benaser.
Spaceman Novak Djokovic crushed Yannick Sinner in a magnificent performance to win the ATP Finals 2-0 in a historic set after overtaking Roger Federer to become the tennis player with the most Tour Finals victories (7).
In what was for him a truly magical evening in Turin, his joy was made even greater shortly after the end of the final when two stars from his favorite Italian team, Milan, waited for him in the dressing room to congratulate him and see him up close.
The reason for Rafael Leao and Ismael Benaser, whereby the Serbian super champion hugged them and took several photos with him, but also exchanged nice words with Leao.
“I came back from Portugal today and came here straight away”Leao said and “Nole” explained how “My speed is almost the same as yours” and to complete “Milan Forever”.
It is recalled that a few 24 hours earlier, as part of his award as No. 1 in the rankings for 2023, Djokovic had another prominent guest from the world of football in the dressing room, where Antonio Conte was waiting for him to congratulate him and tell him this:
“It’s my pleasure, congratulations. I came to meet you in person.” Djokovic responded by saying: “Sir, thank you very much for coming. Thank you. I have great respect for everything you have done.”
