Mourinho: “One day I will go to Saudi Arabia” Roma are criticized for football fakes
Jose Mourinho spoke in an interview with an Italian television channel about the special relationship he has with Roma and its world, but also about the unfair criticism the club receives while leaving Saudi Arabia’s window open for the future.
Jose Mourinho still has questions about his future at Roma due to the financial fair play that significantly restricts the club, but the relationship with the Eternal City team and its fans is something special, which he said in an interview he gave, The neighboring country’s television station “TG1” explained this in detail.
In doing so, the Portuguese claimed that the team received a lot of criticism and was poorly protected, and spoke in front of them of fake fans and pseudo-intellectuals, while suggesting that he had Saudi Arabia in mind, but not his immediate coaching future.
“I always have desire and professional responsibility, but there is something more. These people change the temperature of your body with their heat.”
I love these people and that’s why I have the slightest problem saying that Roma is very special for my career.
I think there is too much criticism of Roma. There is something inside that opens the door to situations like this, but Roma are under a lot of criticism and the same goes for Mourinho.emphasized the special one to add:
“A small example: Our entry into the Europa League final was too easy for some people. Look at what Salzburg is doing in the Champions League, Sociedad too, Feyenoord is still in the hunt for qualification, as is Leverkusen.”
I think the last game Leverkusen lost was against Roma last year. If I were a different coach, on a different team with a different profile, it would be a completely different story.
This isn’t a problem for me as I’ve always managed it throughout my career. I was used to it 10 years ago, so it’s not a problem now.
But I think it’s a problem for the Roma because they deserve more respect. It’s a problem for the fans, who deserve much more respect. But it is a joy for football’s pseudo-fans and pseudo-intellectuals to criticize us.”
As for his future, the veteran Portuguese coach left Saudi Arabia’s window open for the future as he responded to rumors linking him to Real Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti’s successor:
“I think one day I will go to Saudi Arabia. But when I say one day, I don’t mean tomorrow or the day after. Me at Real? But if you have a super coach, why should you think about anyone else?”
As a friend of Real and Ancelotti, I believe their season will be fantastic and Carlo will be there next year too. I am sure that Carlo will stay with Florentino Perez’s first signing because he is perfect for Real and Real is the perfect team for him.
Only a madman would leave if Real Madrid wanted him. And that crazy person is me…”
