15-year-old Camarda joined Milan-Fiorentina and became the youngest to make his Serie A debut
Francesco Camarda entered the pitch in the 83rd minute of the Milan-Fiorentina match and made history by becoming the youngest player ever to take part in a Serie A match at the age of 15 years, 8 months and 5 days.
In the game between Milan and Fiorentina on Matchday 13 of Serie A, history was made in the final quarter. Specifically in the 83rd minute, when Francesco Camarda came on for Luka Jovic. The 15-year-old Italian striker automatically became the youngest player to ever play in a game for Italy’s top league.
And that’s because he received his baptism of fire at the age of 15 years and 260 days, breaking the absolute record previously held by Wisdom Amey, who made his Serie A debut in the jersey at the age of 15 years and 274 days gave by Bologna in the away game against Genoa on May 21, 2022.
