Lautaro extends his contract with Inter and becomes the highest paid footballer in Serie A
Lautaro Martinez has reached an agreement with Inter to extend the partnership until 2028 and the new contract he will sign with higher earnings will make him the highest paid footballer in Serie A.
THE Lautaro Martines He is Inter’s captain and natural leader. The Argentine star is the top scorer in this year’s Serie A with 13 goals and fourth in Europe’s top five leagues.
This year he has scored 15 goals and dished out three assists in 19 games with the Nerazzurri, who are negotiating with the 26-year-old to extend their partnership until 2028.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the two sides have reached an agreement and the new contract with a further two-year extension that Lautaro will sign will come with higher returns
From the €6 million deal of his current contract, which runs until 2026, he will receive €8 million per year.
Now only the final details need to be sorted out, the report says, and if all goes well, Lautaro will become the highest-paid footballer in Serie A.
