Giorgio Chiellini has said goodbye to the pitch at the age of 39 and his long-time Juventus and Italy teammate Gianluigi Buffon has paid tribute to him with an emotional post on Instagram.
After a great career on the pitch, in which he celebrated Euro 2020 as captain of the Italian national team and nine consecutive championships in the Juventus jersey, Giorgio Chiellini ended up winning titles and many Calcio people rushed to say goodbye to him their statements.
His long-time partner at club and national level, Gianluigi Buffon, also falls into this category, with the veteran goalkeeper (who recently announced his decision to retire) uniquely idolizing the 39-year-old defender in his post on Instagram.
