The woman behind super champion Chiellini is hanging up his shoes
The woman behind the great Giorgio Chiellini stood by his side throughout his career.
After a great career on the pitch, in which he celebrated, among other things, winning Euro 2020 as captain of the Italian national team and nine consecutive championships with the Juventus jersey, Giorgio Chiellini ended his successful football career.
His wife has stood behind the great footballer for all these years. His lover, Carolina Bonizzali.
The couple, who have been together for many years, got engaged in 2010 and climbed the church steps four years later in a private ceremony in Livorno, Italy.
Carolina holds a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of La Sapienza in Rome. Although Chiellini’s wife doesn’t particularly like the spotlight, she maintains a public account on Instagram where she posts photos from her everyday life with her family.
The two have two children together. Their daughter Nina was born just a year after their marriage, while the youngest, Olivia, was born in 2019.
