Napoli and Osimene have agreed on a new contract, the Nigerian will not travel to the Africa Cup of Nations
Victor Osimen and Napoli have agreed a new contract, with official announcements expected before Christmas. At the same time, the Nigerian striker will not take part in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Napoli “bind” Victor Osimene, the key player (along with Kvitsa Kvaratshelia) in last year’s championship conquest, until the summer of 2026.
The agreement between the Nigerian striker and the Partenopei has been “sealed”, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, and essentially all that remains are the official announcements, which are expected to be made immediately.
Osimen receives an annual amount of around nine to ten million euros, while his release clause is around 130 to 140 million euros. At the same time, he decided to cancel the Nigerian national team and the Africa Cup of Nations to help the Partenopei in January.
