Lykogiannis is in negotiations with Sampdoria
Sampdoria negotiates with Charalambos Lykogiannis for the two sides’ cooperation on the basis of the summer, with the two sides having differences. Cagliari’s renewal proposal is on the table.
Charalambos Lykogiannis has entered the final year of his contract with Cagliari and his case is under scrutiny by many Italian teams. In the past his name has been linked with Lazio while the new team taking care of him is Sampdoria.
Both sides are in negotiations, the Genoese have made a proposal to the 28-year-old international, but there are differences. Italian journalist Nikolo Schira reports that Lykogiannis wants a three-year deal from Sampdoria, with the team wanting a shorter term.
Of course, Cagliari won’t leave Lykogiannis like that as he has submitted a contract extension proposal. Everything will be clarified in the next period. Lykogiannis has made 100 appearances with Cagliari, boasting four goals and seven assists.
