Returning to Europe for Nani, he signed in Venice
Nani after three years in MLS as Venice announced the acquisition of the 35-year-old Portugal international, who previously played for Manchester United.
Former Manchester United Portuguese midfielder Nani returned to Europe for Serie A and Venezia.
The 35-year-old international midfielder was sacked by Orlando City and signed with the Italian club until the summer of 2023.
With Orlando, Nani scored 28 goals in three seasons and shared 23 assists in 77 appearances while participating in the MLS All-Star in the 2019 and 2021 seasons. Nani made his name known primarily with the Red Devils but also with Sporting Lisbon, with whom he made his first attempts at football at men’s level.
Among others, he has won four Premier Leagues and one Champions League with Manchester, while he has won three Portuguese Cups with the Lisbon Lions.
