Keramitsis: ‘I will work to make Mr Mourinho proud’
17-year-old Dimitris Keramitsis insisted in a post that from now on he will work even harder to make Jose Mourinho proud.
On Sunday evening (16 January) Dimitris Keramitsis made his Roma debut. The 17-year-old Stopper played as a substitute against Cagliari and couldn’t hide his joy after the end of the game.
Typical was the contribution he made: “16/01/2022, the best day of my life. A dream come true. I’m so excited for my debut and for the win. Now I will work much harder to give and make Mr. Mourinho his confidence back.” him proud.”
His statements on the official Roma channel were similar: “I was excited when I was on the bench but as soon as I took the field I needed to focus to help my team take the points to win.

Who is Dimitris Keramitsis?
The 17-year-old Stopper took his first football steps in Thessaloniki. He played in the academies of Aris, Apollon Kalamaria and PAOK. At the age of 14 he switched to the men’s team of AMS Panorama, followed by Thermaikos Thermis and AE Krini.
At the age of 16 he decided to try his luck in Italy and Empoli, while last summer Roma decided to invest in his talent.
Dimitris Keramitsis stands out for his height of 1.93m while using both legs with the same ease. This year he has made eight appearances with Roma’s second team without being able to score.
