Pioli took back the stolen medal after the perpetrator’s “fatal” mistake
The case of Stefano Pioli’s medal stolen during the celebrations in Milan had a happy ending as the perpetrator made a mistake and posted a photo on social media and the police located him a few hours later.
The medal was returned to its owner. On Sunday evening (22/5), Stefano Pioli announced that his medal had been stolen during the celebrations following Milan’s conquest of the championship.
However, the mystery was quickly solved after the perpetrator’s effortless mistake, who rushed to upload a photo of the medal to social media and wrote: “Thanks Pioli.”
Somehow the police managed to get his footsteps and locate him and the medal eventually returned to the Italian coach’s hands.
