Juventus will cost Matthias De Licht €65m, with the Dutch stopper to be handed over to the players in the Italian Cup winners’ ‘showcase’. The 22-year-old centre-back is on the radar of Barcelona, Chelsea and Bayern Munich
Matthias De Licht appears to be spending his final season in the Juventus shirt as summer is expected to be a thing of the past. The Italian “La Repubblica” reports that the “old lady” is demanding 65 million euros for the Dutchman.
Barcelona have expressed interest in De Licht, with Juan Laporta opening a channel of communication with Mino Raiola’s agent due to their relationship, but the Blaugrana aren’t playing alone.
The same report states that the Dutch stopper is also being watched by Chelsea and Bayern Munich, who are also eyeing the centre-back market, due to possible exits.
De Licht has played for Juventus since the summer of 2019 when he was acquired from Ajax for €85m. He has played a total of 98 times for the Torino side, boasting a record of six goals and two assists.
