Lukaku wants to return to Inter
According to Sky Sports, Romelu Lukaku wants to return to Inter but the Nerazzurri are struggling to land him on a transfer.
Like a few months ago, Romelu Lukaku’s name continues to be associated with Inter’s. According to Sky Sports, the Belgium striker wants to return to the Nerazzurri if the Italian side can strike a deal with Chelsea.
The publication states that Inter are currently unable to acquire Lukaku in the form of a transfer. Thus, the onus of making the final decision rests with Chelsea’s new owners.
According to Sky Italia, the Belgian lawyer will travel to Italy for the possibility of a return to Serie A. Nerazzurri CEO Giuseppe Marotta emphasized that his team is in no hurry with Lukaku, but is following developments.
In December there was fear during an interview with Lukaku, in which he stressed that he wants to return to Inter. That year he had 44 games with Chelsea in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing two assists.
