Atalanta are in danger of losing Zapata, who has reached an agreement with Newcastle
Newcastle have agreed a €125,000-a-week salary with Duvan Sapata, according to Colombia’s El Tiempo, but Atalanta have yet to say ‘yes’ to the deal.
Recently Newcastle had stepped up their pressure on Atalanta to take over Duvan Sapata. The 30-year-old forward is tied with the Italian side until the summer of 2023 but the player has reached an agreement with the English club, according to Colombia’s El Tiempo report.
According to him, Zapata is set to increase his income by about €36,000 per week after agreeing to receive €125,000 per week. However, Olympiacos’ opponents in the Europa League have not yet reached an agreement with Newcastle on a transfer of the Colombian international.
According to the report, the England team had initially placed a bid of around 30 million euros, but inthen increased it to 44 million euros.
