Juventus are in contact with Koulibaly to replace De Ligt
Juventus have held talks with Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent to fill the void that could be left by De Ligt’s departure.
FC Bayern and Chelsea are fighting for the signing of Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus. Bayern made an offer of 75 million euros, the Bianconeri demanded 85 million euros.
However, Juventus have already started to ‘scan’ the market for a replacement for the Dutch centre-back. In fact, according to Sky Sport Italy, the Bianconeri people had a meeting with Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent on July 6.
The 31-year-old Senegalese centre-back has a contract with Napoli until 2023, with an extension pending. Therefore a sale is not excluded.
Koulibaly has made 34 appearances in all competitions for the Partenopei this season, recording three goals and three assists.
