Jovic: “Ronaldo is my inspiration, I hope to do as well as Vlahovic in Fiorentina”

Luka Jovic raised the bar on his personal ambitions with Fiorentina during his presentation, admitting that Dusan Vlahovic played an important role in his decision to join the violas.

Last year he only made 19 appearances and 1 goal for Real but Luka Jovic hopes the new season will find him in a starring role. He is called upon to do so in the Fiorentina jersey, with the Serbian international being officially unveiled by the Viola men on Thursday (14/7) and referring to Cristiano Ronaldo and Dusan Vlahovic, among others.

“It’s a great pleasure to be here and to wear this jersey. A lot of Serbian players came here to play in Fiorentina and that gave me a lot of motivation.

I’ve been training during the break and I think I’m in pretty good shape.” Luka Jovic initially said to add meaningfully:

“It’s my first time wearing the No.7 shirt and I hope it brings me luck. I’m inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo and I hope to do as well as he does in Italy.”

Dusan Vlahovic did just as well and I will try to have the same success. We’re teammates in the Serbian national team, but opponents in Serie A and we’ll see how it goes.

We haven’t spoken to each other since the signing but we see each other in the national team and he spoke well to me about the Fiorentina team, the fans, the coach and the management. That helped me with the selection.”

As for his goal with the violas, it reads: “I’m here to aim for fourth or fifth place and I’ll ask all the players to help me get the team as high as possible.”

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds

An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.

Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.

In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.

Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
