Napoli knocked on Chelsea’s door for Kepa
Napoli have lost David Ospina and are looking to fill their gap under the goalposts with Marca revealing the Partenopei have Kepa on loan from Chelsea.
Napoli appear to be weakened in mid-July having already lost Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens and Kalidou Koulibaly, but on top of their losses in attack and defence, they were also caught at the back of the net and David Ospina opted to to continue his career at Al Nasr.
However, according to ‘Marca’ report, the people from the Italian south team have already researched for this specific position and even knocked on the door of one of the strongest European teams in recent years.
That of Chelsea, with Spanish media claiming that they have Kepa on loan for the new season, bearing in mind that the Spanish goalkeeper wants to be at a club that takes games at his feet that he cannot have the Londoners, as the position of main goalkeeper is conquered by Edouard Mendy.
It will be recalled that the 27-year-old found a clear second solution with the 27-year-old last season, only getting games in the FA Cup and League Cup, which can only be comforting for a player who has spent €80m on Chelsea has to get him from Athletic Bilbao.
