Dybala chose the ’21’ in the Roma jersey and not the historical ’10’ that Totti had left him

Francesco Totti has given his blessing for the (heavy) inheritance of the number 10 shirt at Roma to go to Paulo Dybala, with the Argentine nonetheless claiming the number 21 with the help of Nemanja Matic.

If anything is sacred to Roma, it’s two: Francesco Totti, who served them for 24 years without ever betraying them, and the No 10 shirt with which the historic captain is inseparable.

What is impressive, however, is that this number still has one season left, although it was about to find a new owner. What nearby? One breath…

According to Italian media, apart from interest from Napoli and Inter, they also threw the No.10 shirt on the table as bait in the negotiations where Roma had to convince Paulo Dybala to vote for their proposal.

Both Jose Mourinho and Thiago Pinto were positive as Francesco Totti himself had happily given his approval, for a player he greatly admires and who has made flattering comments on a few occasions, but with the same Joya resigning at the last minute.

Not in relation to his desire to join Roma, of course, as a move is now a matter of time after he successfully completed a medical for Roma on Monday – but in relation to his shirt number.

As revealed by Gazzetta dello Sport, he preferred to keep the number 21 shirt he also wears with Argentina national team (he only had it in his first two seasons at Juventus), with Nemanja Matic helping to grant his request fulfill by allowing him to take the “21” he originally chose and choose “8” for him.

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds

An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.

Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.

In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.

Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
